This year’s BCR Open Romania finalist, Juan Monaco, declared himself extremely disappointed with the result of the tournament’s last match but he praised the game of his opponent, Albert Montanes.
In 2001 he was defeated in the finale by Younes El Aynaoui, score 6-7, 6-7, in 2009 Albert Montanes rallied past Juan Monaco in two sets, score 7-6, 7-6, and won BCR Open 2009.
